The Nuvolari is Audi's most performance-focused production model in years. Power comes from a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 combined with a 7.3kWh battery and three axial flux electric motors, for a total system output of 987 horsepower (736kW, roughly 1,001PS).
The headline figures are staggering: 0-100km/h in just 2.6 seconds and a top speed exceeding 350km/h, putting it firmly in hypercar territory.
The most notable part of the new footage is the active rear wing in action for the first time. The wing can switch between stowed, low-drag, and high-drag positions automatically or manually, providing both downforce and an air brake function. In its high-drag setting, it generates up to roughly 400kg (882 lbs) of downforce.
Audi says the Nuvolari represents the brand's push toward faster development, decision-making, and innovation, with the test fleet currently undergoing final tuning across multiple European circuits. Reservations are expected to open in Europe in Q4 this year, with deliveries beginning in the first half of 2027. Only 499 units will be built, with a starting price in the US estimated around $500,000.
