North Carolina builder Signature Autosports has unveiled the Meridian 911, a fully bespoke off-road restomod based on the 964-generation Porsche 911. Where Singer has built a reputation polishing air-cooled 911s for the road, Signature is going the other way, turning the classic silhouette into a rugged, expedition-ready machine with skid plates, reinforced bumpers, a roof rack carrying four spotlights, and hood-mounted auxiliary lamps.
Power comes from a naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six making 365 hp, built around Pauter rods and heads, 102mm pistons and cylinders from Molly Motorsports, CNC-ported billet heads, titanium valve springs, a carbon fiber intake and engine shroud, and independent throttle bodies. New suspension raises ride height for serious ground clearance, paired with all-terrain rubber.
Every Meridian 911 is built in-house at Signature's Castle Hayne, NC facility, covering powertrain engineering, metal fabrication, custom wiring, and upholstery, with buyers able to fully spec their build. Pricing runs from roughly $450,000 to $500,000, putting it firmly in bespoke restomod territory alongside names like Singer and Gunther Werks.
For HPP's Porsche clientele, it's a reminder of how far a 911 platform can be pushed well outside factory parameters, chassis, suspension, and powertrain upgrades that mirror the kind of comprehensive builds enthusiasts increasingly want from their own cars.
