Restomod specialist Signature Autosports has revealed the Meridian 911, an off-road-focused reinterpretation of the classic Porsche 911 built for buyers who find Singer's polished restomods too tied to the pavement. Currently shown only in renders, the Meridian channels the same safari spirit as the Porsche 911 Dakar and Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato, trading low-slung stance for genuine desert capability.
Underpinning the look is an aftermarket suspension setup that raises ride height and pairs with all-terrain tires, plus high-strength skid plates, reinforced bumpers, hood-mounted lamps, and a roof rack carrying four spotlights. Power comes from a fully built 3.8-liter naturally aspirated flat-six featuring Pauter rods, Molly Motorsports 102mm pistons and cylinders, CNC-ported billet heads, titanium valve springs, a carbon fiber intake, and independent throttle bodies.
Signature Autosports says it will handle everything in-house, from powertrain engineering to metal fabrication, custom wiring, and upholstery, meaning each Meridian 911 can be tailored extensively to its owner. Pricing and a build timeline haven't been announced yet, but the concept taps into strong current demand for rugged, high-performance classics that can leave the tarmac behind.
